Over 100 students of HWBK visited the exciting performance of “Martin-Luther King”, put on stage by The American Drama Group. The play portrayed aspects of M.-L. King in his struggle against racism and segregation in America, in the late 60ies. Authentic, charming and professional, the actors successfully captured the audience´s attention with a performance which casts light on a man who is still an icon for the American Dream. Nevertheless the play did not ignore King´s private life which was overshadowed by his frequent affairs with other women. At the end the sold-out house responded with standing ovations.
